During the Rural Electric Youth Tour to Washington, D.C., June 14-20, Warrensburg High School’s Saul Logan was named Missouri’s representative on the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Youth Leadership Council. As a member of the national council and young cooperative leader, he will represent the state of Missouri throughout the next year. more

The University of Central Missouri announced the expansion of its automatic, in-state, out-of-state scholarship program, which now includes residents of Louisiana and Mississippi. This initiative was approved by the UCM Board of Governors in March. more
The University of Central Missouri has been informed by the Higher Learning Commission that HLC’s Institutional Actions Council has “concurred with the evaluation findings” of the visiting team’s recommendations and voted to reaffirm UCM’s accreditation. The next Reaffirmation of Accreditation visit is scheduled for the 2033-34 academic year. more

Apollo, the high-fidelity adult patient simulator, made the long-distance trip on Thursday, June 6, from the Warrensburg Area Career Center to the Western Missouri Medical Center, signifying the beginning of a partnership between the hospital and the Warrensburg R-VI School District. more
