Woman hurt in Johnson crash
A Warrensburg woman suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 2:45 a.m. Thursday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Catalina C. Soles, 18, was driving west on state Route Y west of Southeast 921 Road when her vehicle struck a deer.
Soles, who was wearing a seat belt, declined medical treatment from the Johnson County Ambulance District.
The 2011 Infiniti was totaled.
Windsor man seriously injured in ATV accident
A Windsor man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 12:22 p.m. Thursday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 9-year-old male, of Windsor, was driving a 2010 Polaris west on Southeast 900 Road at Southeast 971 Road when he attempted to switch lanes and overcorrected. The vehicle overturned and the passenger, 66-year-old Billy C. Faust, was ejected.
Faust was taken by Life Flight to St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City for his injuries.
Reports indicate the juvenile was using a safety device but Faust was not.
