Two from Knob Noster transported after Pettis County accident has been updated to fix incorrect information initially included. The Star-Journal apologizes for the error.
Aiden L. Ellege, 20, of Whiteman Air Force Base suffered minor injuries at 2:23 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ellege was driving a 2006 Toyota Camry north on MO 23 when he intentionally swerved off the roadway causing the vehicle to overturn. He was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Johnson County ambulance District to Missouri Western Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Sandra S. Grandestaff, 82, of Knob Noster suffered minor injuries, and Charles W. Grandestaff, 86, of Knob Noster suffered moderate injuries at 2:18 p.m. Friday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Report, Charles Grandestaff was driving a 2009 Toyota Tacoma east on U.S. Highway 50 near Davies Road, in the right-hand lane when he was struck by a 2001 Dodge Dakota driven east by Thomas J. Miller, 21, of Houstonia.
Everyone was wearing a seatbelt, the injured were transported by Pettis County ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
