Two hurt in Johnson County collision
Regan M. Anderson, 22, of Odessa suffered minor injuries and Dillon R. Gilmore, 27, of Sweet Springs suffered minor injuries at 8:11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Anderson was slowing for congested traffic southbound on Missouri Route 13 in a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu when she was struck in the rear by Gilmore's 2021 Chevrolet Malibu.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Holden motorcyclist in serious condition after Johnson County hit-and-run
Daniel J. Hill, 58, of Holden suffered serious injuries at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, an unknown vehicle sideswiped Hill’s 2014 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra limited motorcycle as he was eastbound on U.S. Highway 50 west of Missouri Route 131. Hill lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected and the unknown vehicle fled the scene.
Hill was wearing a helmet and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
