Minor injuries reported in Oct. 8 wreck
Two people are reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck Oct. 8 on Southwest 1251 Road and Southwest 1301 Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2016 Dodge Charger, driven by John W. Doubledee, 24, of Harrisonville, traveled off the right side of the road, struck a tree, fence and another tree before coming to rest on a fence.
Doubledee and occupant Robert C. Mitchell, 22, of Warrensburg, are reported to have minor injuries and were transported by Johnson County Sheriff’s Office to Western Missouri Medical Center.
Doubledee and Mitchell are both reported to have worn a safety device.
The Dodge is reported to be a total loss.

Serious injuries reported in Oct. 8 wreck
Two people are reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck Oct. 8 on Southwest 1251 Road and Southwest 1301 Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2013 SYM Citycom 300I, driven by a unnamed juvenile, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned, ejecting the driver and occupant.
The juvenile and occupant Christian M. Van Oster, 21, are reported to have serious injuries. The Juvenile was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Children's Mercy Hospital. Van Oster was transported by JCAD to Research Medical Center.
The juvenile and Van Oster are reported to have not worn a safety device.
The vehicle is reported to be a total loss.
MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

Serious injuries reported in Oct. 9 wreck
Two people are reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck Oct. 9 west of 132 Northwest 1021st Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2022 Can-Am was traveling in a private field, down a ravine and overturned, ejecting driver Gene A. Anderson, 56, and passenger Scott A. Anderson, 24, of Holden.
Gene Anderson and Scott Anderson are both reported to have serious injuries and were transported by Johnson County Emergency Management Services to Research Medical Center.
Gene Anderson and Scott Anderson are both reported to have not worn a safety device.
The Can-Am is reported to have extensive damage.
MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and Johnson County Fire Protection District.

Minor injuries reported in Oct. 9 wreck
One person is reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck Oct. 9 on westbound Highway 50 east of 501 Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2018 Dodge Challenger, driven by Amber M. Murphy, 33, of Knob Noster, traveled off the road and struck a fence.
Murphy is reported to have minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center.
Murphy is reported to have worn a safety device.
The Dodge is reported to have extensive damage.
