Moderate injuries reported in Sept. 16 wreck
One person is reported to have moderate injuries from a two-vehicle wreck Sept. 16 on eastbound Highway 50 east of Highway 58.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2015 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Myra D. Howard, 74, of Centerview, entered the eastbound lane of Highway 50 from the northbound lanes of Highway 58 and traveled into the path of a 2018 Ford, operated by a juvenile driver of Warrensburg. The Ford struck the rear of the Jeep.
The juvenile is reported to have moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center.
Both drivers are reported to have worn a safety device.
Both vehicles are reported to have extensive damage.


Minor injuries reported in wreck on Route DD
One person is reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck Sept. 16 on Route DD at Southeast 421st Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2013 Ford Focus, driven by Sandralee R. Coles, 47, of Warrensburg, was traveling westbound on Route DD and struck a deer.
Coles is reported to have minor injuries and sought her own treatment.
The Ford was driven from the scene.


Serious injuries reported in Sept. 22 wreck
One person is reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck Sept. 22 on Old Highway 13 west of Business Highway 13.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2009 Jeep, driven by David M. Heiner, 56, of Warrensburg, traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.
Heiner is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center.
MSHP reports it is unknown if Heiner was wearing a safety device.
The Jeep is reported to be a total loss.
MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office
