Kingsville resident injured in Henry County wreck 

One person is reported to have minor injuries from a two-vehicle wreck Sept. 1 on Highway 2 south of Northeast 1400 Road in Henry County. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2011 Ford F-250, driven by Emmett T. Carlton, 34, of Kingsville, and a 2018 Ford F-550, driven by Chad W. Guffey, 45, of Clinton, struck mirrors while traveling on the roadway. 

Carlton is reported to have minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene. 

Carlton and Guffey are each reported to have worn a safety device. 

Both vehicles are each reported to have minor damage. 

Vehicle flees scene after striking pedestrian 

A pedestrian is reported to have moderate injuries after a BMW traveled off the roadway and struck Lane E. Freed, 20, of Warrensburg, on Sept. 4 on Highway 50 west of 271 Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the BMW fled the scene and the driver of the vehicle is unknown. 

Freed is reported to have moderate injuries and was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

Serious injuries reported in Sept. 5 wreck 

One person is reported to have serious injuries from a two-vehicle wreck Sept. 5 on Highway 23 at Route E. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Alan B. Troyer, 64, of Warrensburg, attempted to make a U-turn and was struck by a 2020 GMC Yukon, driven by Debbie K. Marmon, 59, of Norwalk, Iowa. 

Marmon is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

Marmon and Troyer are each reported to have worn a safety device. 

Both vehicles are each reported to have minor damage.
