Warrensburg area police reports for Oct. 20

Anthony F.L. Wendt, 48, was arrested Sept. 21 in the 1200 block of South Holden Street for driving without a valid license, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, obstruction and speeding 25 miles per hour over the speed limit after an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle visibly driving over the speed limit in the area of Hunt Street and College Street. The vehicle failed to yield to my emergency vehicle and continued driving to the 1200 block of South Holden Street. After investigation, it was found the male driver did not have a valid license. The male driver subject, and sole occupant of the vehicle, then resisted arrest before being taken into custody. He was booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department
Madison M. Sparks, 24, was arrested Sept. 22 in the area of West Gay Street and Main Street for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, while Eric L. Cannon, 48, was arrested for driving while suspended after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The officer observed a male driving a vehicle with a revoked driver’s license. The male consented to a search of the vehicle, but no contraband was found. A female subject admitted to having meth. The male was arrested for driving without a license. The female was arrested for poison. They were transported to the Warrenburg Police Department, where the male subject was released with a citation and the female was released with pending state charges.
Cole M. Palmer, 31, was arrested Sept. 22 in the 300 block of North Maguire Street for obstruction and shoplifting after officers were dispatched in reference to reported theft. An unknown male stole alcohol and left the area. He was located shortly after and fled from officers. The male was located and arrested. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Cole M. Palmer, 31, was arrested Sept. 23 in the 200 block of North Holden Street for unlawful use of a weapon after officers were dispatched to a male chasing another male with a knife near the intersection of Holden and Culton Streets. Multiple witnesses confirmed watching the suspect chase and attempt to attack the other male. The suspect was located and transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was placed in custody of jail staff pending state charges.
Xavier L. Rashaw, 18, was arrested Sept. 23 in the 600 block of South Washington Street after officers were dispatched to a theft in the 300 block of North Maguire Street after an employee reported a known male stole a bottle of alcohol. Officers located the male in the 600 block of South Washington Street. The stolen bottle of alcohol was recovered and the male was arrested. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released pending state charges.
Logan Z. Hall, 20, was arrested Sept. 24 in the 200 block of Johnson Drive for simple domestic assault and minor in possession after officers were dispatched to reports of a domestic disturbance. It was determined a known male punched another male in the face during the altercation. The male was visibly intoxicated to officers. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Danielle J. Schwager, 42, was arrested Sept. 24 in the 600 block of East Russell Ave. for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance and an active warrant after officers were dispatched regarding theft. The reporting female was found to have warrants from Johnson County and the Warrensburg Municipal Court. While retrieving a book for the female subject, paraphernalia was found with residue. She was arrested and transported to the Johnson County Jail, where she was left in custody of jail staff in lieu of bond.
Elizabeth D. Yung, 44, was arrested Sept. 24 in the area of Zoll Street and Hamilton Street for leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated after officers responded to the 700 block of South Maguire Street after officers responded to the report of a female that had driven her car into the front of a business then left the scene. Officers located the subject, who was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Daniel. C. McCabe, 21, and Isaac R. Roberton, 22, were arrested for public affray Sept. 26 in the 100 block of West Pine Street after officers were conducting bar close and a fight broke out. Two male subjects were separated, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Joseph G. Miller, 20, was arrested Sept. 26 in the 700 block of Zoll Street for leaving the scene of an accident after officers investigated a motor vehicle crash in the 300 block of Main Street. Someone reported a car was driving in a field next to her house. The male was arrested, booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department with citations.
Desiree M. Baker, 43, was arrested Sept. 27 in the area of North Holden Street and East North Street for driving with a revoked license and failure to register a motor vehicle after officers stopped a blue car with no license plates. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
