Trails Regional Library to host Community Engagement Forum

Published 5:00 am Wednesday, October 28, 2026

Trails Regional Library will host a second community engagement forum Thursday, November 12, to gather input from community members from Johnson and Lafayette County about the future of the library and the services it provides to their community.

The forum, titled “Your Voice. Your Library. Your Community. Our Future,” will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the First Christian Church-Life Center, 101 E. Gay St., Warrensburg, MO 64093.

The event will provide an opportunity for community leaders, parents and families, community members, partners and supporters to share ideas, discuss community priorities and identify what they value and need from their local library.

A light dinner will be provided, and time will also be available for networking and connecting with other community members.

Seating is limited to 60 people, and RSVPs are required. Submitting an RSVP does not guarantee a space; attendees will receive a confirmation from Trails Regional Library once their space has been confirmed. Those interested in attending should RSVP by Friday, November 6, 2026 either by emailing website@trailslibrary.org or completing the online RSVP form located on our website trailslibrary.org.

Trails Regional Library encourages residents and community partners to participate in the conversation and share their ideas about what the library can provide for the community in the future.

Trails Regional Library is comprised of eight branches and one express branch and serves the counties of Johnson and Lafayette. For branch locations or more information, visit the library’s website at trailslibrary.org.
