Dr. Mark and Joanne Means will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 2. The couple married on Aug. 2, 1975 in Independence. They relocated to Warrensburg where Dr. Means started Alpine Pet Clinic and Kennels on March 31, 1977. Joanne started work that same year at Harmon/GE/Alsom and worked there for 39 years. Mark sold his practice and Joanne retired in Aug. 2016. They relocated to Pleasant Hill. They have one son Quentin Means, a pilot who lives with his wife Allie and baby girl Hadley in Chicago.
