A Warrensburg man, 100, was killed at 1:05 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, in a Johnston County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2019 Buick Encore south at Young Street and Warren Street in Warrensburg when he failed to yield at a stop sign and drove into the path of an eastbound 2026 Ford Maverick driven by a Warrensburg woman, 73, and was struck.
He was not wearing a seat belt, and was pronounced dead at Western Missouri Medical Center.
