Twins Mildred Louise Beard and Virgie Lea Fockler celebrated their 98th birthdays on June 4.
They were born to parents Fred and Louise Beard on June 4, 1925, at the family farm. Mildred is eight minutes older.
They have 10 siblings.
Mildred was married to the late Reggie Beard and Virgie was married to the late Lloyd Fockler.
Both are members of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints of Warrensburg. They both reside in room 301 of the Country Club Nursing Center in Warrensburg. They love being roommates and living at the Center.
They celebrated with a birthday party at 1:30 p.m. June 4 at the Country Club Nursing Home.
