Just in time for Thanksgiving week, accessing Warrensburg from eastbound U.S. Highway 50 just became easier.
The Missouri Department of Transportation reopened access to Business Highway 50 from eastbound U.S. Highway 50 on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
The intersection had been closed since June, making way for safety improvements.
The project installed a third lane on U.S. Highway 50 for an onramp to Business 50 and an offramp from Business 50. The median access to and from westbound U.S. Highway 50 from Business 50 is now a j turn.
Additional j-turn construction continues to the west of the intersection.
