The City of Warrensburg is proud has announced the development of a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan aimed at improving roadway safety for all users. This initiative is funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program and reflects Warrensburg’s commitment to reducing traffic fatalities and serious injuries across the community.
The Safety Action Plan will analyze crash data, identify contributing factors and develop a prioritized list of recommended improvements to address high-risk areas. The plan will also include a toolbox of proven countermeasures to guide future investments in safer streets.
Anyone who walks, bikes, rolls or drives in and around Warrensburg is encouraged to participate in shaping the plan by sharing their experiences and priorities through two tools, a community survey and an interactive map, currently available on the City’s website at warrensburg-mo.com/987/Warrensburg-Safety-Action-Plan
Online feedback will close at the end of October 2025.
