Tuesday, July 11

The Johnson County Fair opening ceremony takes place at 5:30 p.m. on the Johnson County Fairgrounds, 386 NW 145th Road in Warrensburg. The fair continues through Saturday, July 15.

Wednesday, July 12

Johnson County Community Health Services offers walk-in COVID-19 vaccines from 1 to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday. It is not necessary to make an appointment.

GriefShare grief recovery seminar and support group meets at 1:30 p.m. every Wednesday in person at the First Baptist Church, 1302 S. Maguire St. To register, visit griefshare.org. For more information, call 660-747-9186.

Pro Bull Riding will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Johnson County Fair on the fairgrounds, 386 NW 145th Road in Warrensburg.

Sunday, July 16

Dog Days takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Powell Gardens, 1609 NW U.S. Highway 50 in Kingsville. On select Sundays, Powell Gardens patrons can bring their dogs with them. For more information, visit the Powell Gardens Facebook page.
