Tuesday, July 2

Trails Regional Library hosts Storytime in the Stacks at 10 a.m. every Tuesday at the Warrensburg Branch. This is a kids program.

Offered by Journey Home, Refuge on Ming and various area churches, hot lunch is provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 206 N. College St. in Warrensburg. Medical services provided by Katy Trail Community Health’s mobile unit are available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of The Food Center, 137 E. Culton St. in Warrensburg. The Trails Regional Library Knob Noster branch will host a classic movie screening at 1 p.m. Enjoy free popcorn and a choice of water, coffee, or tea. You can also bring your own snacks.

Wednesday, July 3

Trails Regional Library hosts Coffee and Connections at 9 a.m. every Wednesday at the Warrensburg Branch. This program is for adults.

The Trails Regional Library Knob Noster branch will host Storytime for ages 0-5 at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Rotary of Central Missouri will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in Elliott Student Union Room 235 on the University of Central Missouri campus. Lunch is not provided, but attendees are welcome to bring their own.

Trails Regional Library hosts Get Hooked at 10 a.m. at the Warrensburg Branch. All ages are welcome.

The Trails Regional Library Knob Noster branch will host Scales and Tales at 2 p.m. Registration is required. The program will introduce snakes, providing an opportunity to meet some scaly friends.

The Warrensburg Farmers’ Market will be hosted from 8 a.m. to noon around the Johnson County Courthouse square.

The Trails Regional Library Leeton branch will host storytime and crafts on the first Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. for all ages.

The Trails Regional Library Leeton branch will host a family-friendly movie at 11 a.m. on the first Saturday of the month. Popcorn will be provided.

Trails Regional Library hosts Cinema Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Knob Noster Branch. All ages are welcome.

Central Missouri Speedway will host the 24th annual Tom Wilson Memorial. Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m., followed by the grandstands at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow. A fireworks display will take place after the races. For more information, visit centralmissourispeedway.com.

The Johnson County Cancer Support Group will meet from noon to 2 p.m. at Northside Christian Church room 106, 500 N. Ridgeview Drive.

Monday, July 8

The Trails Regional Library Knob Noster branch will host Interview How-To for ages 15 and older with the Missouri Valley Community Action Agency at 10 a.m. Registration is required.

A music get-together is hosted at 11 a.m. every Monday at the Warrensburg Senior Center, 445 E. Gay St. Everybody is welcome to join with singing, playing an instrument or just listening. For more information, call Daniel at 304-767-8575.

Seniors Jammin’ meets at 1 p.m. every Monday at East Gate Restoration Branch, 401 N. Main St., Centerview. Bring your instrument, singing voice or listening ear for this free, informal, relaxed, weekly event.
