Country artists Zeiders and Flores to perform at Missouri State Fair

Posted

Modern country music artists Warren Zeiders and Wyatt Flores, who perform country, pop, rock and folk, will perform on Friday, Aug. 9 as part of the State Fair Grandstand concert series at the 2024 Missouri State Fair.

Information provided by the MSF states Zeiders was only 22 years old when he signed his first recording contract with Warner Records. A series of live covers, such as “Ride The Lightning,” caught fire and ignited a community of fans before he toured or played outside his hometown of Hershey, Pennsylvania.

The information states that Zeiders’ “distinctive, high-energy country music is powered by a steady supply of youthful grit, honesty, muscle,” paired with his “world-weary, lived-in, honeyed growl that belie his young years.” Recently relocated to Nashville, the now 23-year-old singer/songwriter delivers outlaw sermons with his unmistakable authenticity.

Information released by the MSF noted Flores “carries around old memories, the ghosts of loved ones, and dreams of a better future in his music. This Mexican-American Oklahoma-born troubadour sings from the gut, telling stories against a gritty country soundtrack.”

His unfiltered thoughts on life, death, addiction, pain, and joy emerge through his delivery. He grew up surrounded by music in Stillwater, Oklahoma. At 19, his debut, “Travelin’ Kid,” gained traction. “Please Don’t Go,” caught fire online, leading to The Hutson Sessions EP. Along the way, he inked a deal with Island Records.

Ticket prices are $55 for track and $45 for Grandstand. Tickets go on sale for the public starting 9 a.m. May 21 through Etix. The Missouri State Fair will be hosted Aug. 8-18 in Sedalia. For more information, visit mostatefair.com.
