Warrensburg woman hurt in Highway 13 accident

Wan Peng, 47, of Warrensburg, suffered minor injuries at 3:40 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Toyota Camry driven east by Jeannie McNall, 74, of Warrensburg, failed to yield to a 1990 Freightliner driven south on Highway 13 by Clint T. Pointer, 21, of Tunas. After the vehicles came to rest, McNall backed into a 2013 Toyota Sequoia driven by Michael L. Maxwell, 51, of Boonville.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt. Peng, an occupant in the Camry, was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center.

Holden teen injured in impaired driving accident

Wyatt L. Holt, 18, of Holden, sustained moderate injuries at 4:45 a.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Holt was driving a 2002 Jeep Wrangler west on state Route 2 when he traveled off the left side of the roadway. His vehicle struck an embankment and overturned.

Holt was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center.

Holt was arrested for felony leaving the scene of an accident, driving while intoxicated, drinking while driving, and no seat belt. He was released for medical care.
