Schools call off classes Feb. 3-4 for inclement weather


The Warrensburg, Chilhowee and Holden school districts have canceled classes for Thursday and Friday, Feb. 3-4 due to inclement weather. 

The Kingsville School District has announced Thursday will be an Alternative Methods of Instruction day and school is canceled Friday. 

The Knob Noster School District has announced Thursday and Friday will be AMI days. 

The Leeton School District will not have school Thursday.

Crest Ridge will have AMI on Thursday and no school on Friday. 

The National Weather Service reports the counties of Johnson, Bates, Cass, Cooper, Henry, Howard and Pettis are under a winter storm warning through noon Thursday. 

NWS states if travel is necessary, to keep an extra flashlight, food and water inside the vehicle in case of an emergency.
