Raytown man injured in Johnson County crash
A Raytown man, 22, suffered moderate injuries at 12:31 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2007 Toyota Corolla east on U.S. Highway 50 when he failed to yield and struck the rear of a 2014 Toyota Camry driven north on Missouri Route AA by a Blue Springs man, 87.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the injured man was transported to Western Missouri medical center in Warrensburg.
Bates City man injured in Johnson County mishap
A Bates City man, 70, suffered moderate injuries at 3:12 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe east on U.S. Highway 50 when he rear-ended a stopped 2005 Peterbilt driven by a 32-year-old man from Platte City.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the injured man was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.
