Warrensburg driver hurt in Johnson County crash

A Warrensburg man, 50, suffered minor injuries at 3:07 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2005 Dodge Caravan east on US 50 near NW 121st Road when he was rear-ended by a 2014 Nissan Juke driven by a Kansas City woman, 26.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts; the injured man was transported by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Two transported after Johnson County collision

An Excelsior Springs man, 24, suffered moderate injuries and a Wheatland man, 74, suffered minor injuries at 6:18 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, The Excelsior Springs man was driving a 2013 Hyundai East on U.S. 50 at Northwest 1971 Road and rear-ended the Wheatland man's 2020 Ford.

The Excelsior Springs man was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. The Wheatland man was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence by Lone Jack EMS.

Warrensburg woman hurt in Johnson County crash

A Warrensburg woman, 20, suffered minor injuries at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2019 Ford Escape south on Business 13 Highway when she swerved to avoid impact with stopped vehicles, crossed over a double-yellow line and impacted a northbound 2014 Toyota Tundra driven by a Warrensburg woman, 41.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt, the injured woman was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center.

Jeff City motorcyclist seriously injured in Johnson County spill

A Jefferson City man, 71, suffered serious injuries at 11:43 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2015 Honda Goldwing west on US 50 near NW 375 Road when he traveled off the left side of the roadway. The saddlebags impacted the ground on each side, ejecting the driver, who was wearing a helmet. He was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Concordia woman hurt in Johnson County accident

A Concordia woman, 20, suffered minor injuries at 5:08 p.m. Friday, May 9,  in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was the occupant of a 2016 Nissan Sentra traveling  north on Missouri Route 13 by a Concordia man, 19, who rear ended a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a Warrensburg man, 32.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt. The injured woman was transported by private conveyance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
