Warrensburg area police reports for March 3

Derrick W. Roar, 45, was arrested Feb. 2 in the 200 block of West Hunt Street for disturbing the peace after officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West Young Street in reference to a disturbance. A business reported that a known male caused a disturbance by threatening an individual in the parking lot. After further investigation, officers located the individual. He was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.  

Timothy D. Payne, 63, was arrested Feb. 2 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for shoplifting after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. Asset protection reported that a known male passed all points of sale without making a payment. Officers arrested the male. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

​Jessica A. Huckaby, 50, was arrested Feb. 4 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for stealing and trespassing after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. Asset protection reported a known female passed all points of sale without rendering payment for items. The female was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

Timothy L. Albin, 24, was arrested Feb. 5 in the 100 block of South Holden Street for unlawful use of a weapon and assault after officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Spring Ridge Road for an assault involving weapons. Officers arrived on scene, and after investigation, two parties were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for their injuries. The suspect was identified and later arrested for two counts of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. The suspect was transported to the Johnson County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

​Ernesto G. Hernandez, 47, was arrested Feb. 5 near the intersection of College Street and Culton Street for driving while suspended and no proof of insurance after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign and had expired registration.  Officers arrested the driver for driving while revoked and no insurance. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a city summons.

​Jamis A. Torrey, 39, was arrested Feb. 6 in the 100 block of South Holden Street for smoking in a prohibited location and an open container violation after officers were dispatched to the train depot in reference to a subject check. Officers made contact with the male, who had an open container and was smoking in an enclosed space. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

​Katherine E. Chisom, 68, was arrested Feb. 6 in the 700 block of North Charles Street for leaving the scene of an accident after officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 1000 block of South Maguire Street. It was reported that a vehicle fled the scene before officer arrival. The female driver was located and arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed city summons.​

Michael L. Greer, 46, was arrested Feb. 6 in the area of East Maguire Street and North Maguire Street for driving while revoked after officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident. One male driver was discovered to be operating while revoked. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released.

​Deana Hawthorne, 42, was arrested Feb. 6 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for stealing after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. Asset protection informed officers that a known female was caught passing through all points of sale without rendering payment. The female was arrested, booked and released on scene with a signed city summons.

Max T. Parsons, 62, was arrested Feb. 6 in the area of West Culton Street and North Washington Street for urinating in public after officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Pine Street in reference to an incident of indecent exposure. A reporting party stated that a male urinated on her vehicle while in public. After further investigation, the male was arrested, booked and released with a signed city summons.

​Steven W. Cox Jr., 31, was arrested Feb. 7 in the area of 58 Highway and E Highway in Strasburg for stealing less than $750, third-degree kidnapping and fourth-degree domestic assault after officers were dispatched Feb. 4 to the area of Hamilton and Maguire Street for a domestic disturbance. Officers made contact with the reporting party and victim, who stated a male subject assaulted them, stole their belongings and attempted to kidnap them. The investigation is ongoing.  Cox was also arrested Feb. 6 for stalking in the area of 58 Highway and E Highway after officers were dispatched to the 800 block of South Maguire Street in reference to harassment. A recovery house reported a known female had been stalked by a male while in their care. The male was located and arrested for stalking. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold.​

Clayton N. Greiner, 26, was arrested Feb. 7 in the 300 block of East Market Street for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident after officers were patrolling the area and witnessed a known male driver strike a vehicle while backing out of a driveway. The driver attempted to drive away, but was stopped by officers. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

​Cheri R. Grant, 44, was arrested Feb. 8 in the 1200 block of North 13 Highway for  obstructing process and assault on an officer after officers were dispatched for a check of well-being call. Officers made contact with an intoxicated female who began assaulting officers. She was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released.​

Justin M. Cartwright, 42, was arrested Feb. 8 in the 100 block of North Main Street for obstructing process, endangering the welfare of a child, abuse or neglect of a child  and third-degree domestic assault after officers were dispatched in reference to a disturbance. Officers made contact with a known male, who was arrested, transported to the Johnson County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

​William T. Cain, 28, was arrested Feb. 8 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for stealing and obstruction after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. Asset protection informed officers that a male passed all points of sale without rendering payment. Officers made contact with the male, who was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
