Warrensburg area police reports for May 5

Sean J. Murrow, 19, was arrested April 6  in the 500 block of East Young Street  for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of a weapon and driving while intoxicated after officers were dispatched in reference to a disturbance. Officers located a male attempting to enter a bank with a firearm. He was detained and later arrested for driving while intoxicated,possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a firearm. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

Kaleb J. Williamson, 27, was arrested April 6 in the 600 block of North Maguire Street for driving while intoxicated and improper registration after officers were dispatched in reference to a driver possibly drinking and driving. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and arrested the driver. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released pending state charges.

Tina N. Green, 45, was arrested April 6 in the 100 block of South Holden Street  for trespassing and obstruction after officers were dispatched in reference to a disturbance. Officers located a female walking on the train tracks, where she was arrested for trespassing. During the arrest, she began to resist, leading to the obstruction charge. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed city summons.

Nathaneal J. Jankura, 20, and Preston A. McCarty, 25, were arrested April 6 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for shoplifting after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. Asset protection reported two male subjects had been seen consuming products in the store and passed all points of sale without rendering payment. After further investigation, both subjects were arrested. They were transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed city summons.

Rudolf Barajas, 21, was arrested April 7 in the 100 block of West Pine Street for trespassing after officers were dispatched in reference to trespassing. Officers were informed that a known male who had previously been trespassed was located on the scene. Officers made contact, and he was arrested for trespassing. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

Libby C. Klaus, 58, was arrested April 7 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for shoplifting after officers were dispatched in reference to theft. Asset protection reported a known female subject who switched ticketed items before attempting to leave the store. After reviewing footage, officers arrested a female for shoplifting. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released. She was also later issued two mail citations for shoplifting instances that occurred March 7 and March 18.

Adam H. Duncan, 20, was arrested April 8 in the 200 block of Madison Street for leaving the scene of an accident after officers were  dispatched to the 200 block of South Ridgeview Drive in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Officers made contact with the reporting party, stating a person had struck their vehicle before leaving the scene. Officers identified and arrested the male for leaving the scene of an accident. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

Tina A. Dravenstott, 46, was arrested April 18 in the 700 block of Culton Street for simple domestic assault after officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. Officers made contact with a male who reported a known female had assaulted him by punching him in the face. After further investigation, the female was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed city summons.

Sevyn Spencer, 19, was arrested April 8 in the 300 block of South Maguire Street for driving while suspended after officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Maguire Street for no working taillights.  Officers determined the driver was driving while suspended and placed her under arrest. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

Robert A. Summers, 27, was arrested April 9 in the 700 block of North Charles Street for shoplifting after officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard in reference to a theft. Asset protection reported a known male concealed items in his person and left the store without rendering payment. Officers located the male at a separate location, where he was arrested for stealing. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

Samantha D. Pohlman, 27; Jesse A. Smetters, 42; Jeremy R. Vance, 30, and Caleb A Foose, 30; were arrested April 10 in the 400 block of East Young Street for disturbing public peace after officers were dispatched to a wooded area in reference to a disturbance. Officers made contact with multiple parties who reported a fight broke out among three male subjects and one female subject. No assault charges were pursued, but the three males and one female were cited on scene for disturbing public peace.

Amber L. Powers, 37, was arrested April 10 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for shoplifting after officers were dispatched to theft.  Asset protection reported a known female passed all points of sale without rendering payment for items. Officers arrested the female for shoplifting. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed city summons.

Robbie L. Hardin, 46, was arrested  April 11 in the 100 block of West Young Street for obstruction and obstructing the flow of traffic  after officers were dispatched in reference to a traffic complaint. Officers located a male walking in the roadway who appeared to be intoxicated. Officers attempted to make contact, but he made threats and disobeyed commands. He was arrested and taken into custody following the use of nonlethal force. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

Joseph D. Sivils Jr., 19, was arrested April 11  in the 300 block of North Maguire Street for noise restrictions after officers were dispatched in reference to a noise complaint. Multiple parties reported hearing loud music and a train horn coming from a white truck in the area. Officers located a vehicle matching the description. He was booked and released with a citation.

Gavin S. Boyles, 20, was arrested April 11 in the 100 block of West Pine Street for minor visibly intoxicated after officers were dispatched in reference to a liquor violation. Officers observed a known male subject enter a bar after previously being told to leave. Officers discovered the male was a minor and arrested him. He was booked and released on scene with a signed city summons for minor visibly intoxicated by alcohol.

Hudson W. Strahm, 20, was arrested April 12 in the 400 block of North Washington Street for minor in possession and possession of a fictitious license after officers were dispatched to a burglary that had just occurred. A reporting party stated a known male broke into their house before leaving. Officers located the subject in a nearby area. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.​

Nicole J.D. Jones, 38, was arrested April 12 in the 400 block of North Maguire Street for driving while suspended after officers conducted a vehicle stop on a moped for corner cutting. Officers discovered she was driving while suspended. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
