Montrell L. Love, 49, was arrested Sept. 1 in the 100 block of West Russell Avenue for driving while suspended, failing to register a motor vehicle annually, and failing to maintain financial responsibility after officers conducted a traffic stop for expired plates. The male driver had a revoked license and no proof of insurance. He was booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department pending state charges.
Mark A. Ailshire, 49, was arrested Sept. 1 in the area of East Russell Avenue and College Street for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and driving while suspended after officers stopped a vehicle displaying another vehicle’s plates, no front plate and defective brake lights. The male had a revoked license. He was booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department pending state charges.
Michael W. Norton, 48, was arrested Sept. 1 in the 200 block of North Holton Street for obstruction and animal abandonment after officers were dispatched to a reported animal incident. Officers located a known male subject. He was placed in the Johnson County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. The dog was taken to Lifetime Animal Hospital and left in the care of the staff.
Sonja K. Morgan, 50, was arrested Sept. 1 in the 700 block of Shamrock Lane for assault after officers were dispatched to a domestic assault. Officers located a male bleeding from the head and face. The Johnson County Ambulance District responded and examined the male and a female. Both refused to be transported. Officers arrested the female, transported her to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked her, and released her to a sober ride.
Robert McKenzie Michael, 57, was arrested Sept. 2 in the 800 block of South Main Street for criminal mischief, first-degree harassment and first-degree property damage after officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress. The reporting party stated a known male was tearing into her wall and drywall and was attempting to get into her apartment. The male was arrested for harassment and property damage. He was booked and released pending state charges.
Noah M. Kempinger, 23, was arrested Sept. 4 in the area of Maguire Street and Railroad Street for simple assault after a female reported a male had grabbed her butt in the parking lot of a business. Officers located a male, who had fled on foot, and arrested him. He was booked and released with a signed summons.
Evan R. Wyatt, 23, was arrested Sept. 5 in the 100 block of West Culton Street for driving while intoxicated after officers observed a vehicle driving in a careless manner in the 100 block of West Pine Street. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and was found to have no proof of insurance and improper registration. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Karen E. Swearingin, 50, was arrested Sept. 5 in the 100 block of Devasher RD for neglect of a special victim after a reporting party reported concern about the living conditions of a male subject with special needs after making a delivery to the residence. The male subject was taken to the hospital. A female was arrested, booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department pending state charges.
Valerie A. Johnson, 61, was arrested Sept. 5 in the 400 block of North Maguire Street for disturbing public peace after someone reported a woman was disrupting traffic flow and chasing cars at the location. The female was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Randall C. Fletcher, 26, was arrested Sept. 6 in the area of North Maguire Street and East Market Street for dumping trash and obstruction after officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Pine Street. While attempting to get behind the vehicle, a male stepped in front of a patrol car while the emergency lights were activated and set an open container of alcohol in front of the patrol vehicle. He was physically moved out of the street by officers. The male was later located and arrested. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Kylie J. Patriarca, 20, was arrested Sept. 6 in the area of Railroad Street and Holden Street for driving while intoxicated, minor in possession and careless and imprudent driving after officers stopped a vehicle for careless and imprudent driving. Following an investigation, she was arrested. She was transported to the Warresburg Police Department, where she was processed and cited for failure to provide proof of insurance and careless and imprudent driving. She was booked and released.
Jacob R. Smith, 43, was arrested Sept. 6 in the 400 block of West North Street for simple domestic assault after officers responded to a domestic dispute. An investigation determined a male had pushed the reporting party into items, causing injury. The known male was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Timothy Goude, 27, was arrested Sept. 6 in the 100 block of Houx Street for resisting or interfering in an arrest after officers responded to a rape case in the 100 block of East Hunt Street. Upon arrival, a male fled from officers, leading to a foot pursuit. They lost line of sight when he rounded Houx Street, but he was later located. He was booked and released for resisting arrest. An investigation is still ongoing in the case.
