Tuesday, June 18

Trails Regional Library hosts Storytime in the Stacks at 10 a.m. every Tuesday at the Warrensburg Branch. Followed by Craft Time at 10:30 a.m. This is a kids program.

Care Connection and ParentLink of University of Missouri will host a regular support group for grandparents and other relatives raising children in Johnson County from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Care Connection central office, 106 W. Young (lower terrace).

Offered by Journey Home, Refuge on Ming and various area churches, hot lunch is provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 206 N. College St. in Warrensburg. Medical services provided by Katy Trail Community Health’s mobile unit are available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of The Food Center, 137 E. Culton St. in Warrensburg. The American Red Cross will host a blood drive from 1 to 5 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1515 SE state Highway DD in Warrensburg.

Rotary of Central Missouri will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in Elliott Student Union Room 235 on the University of Central Missouri campus. Lunch is not provided, but attendees are welcome to bring their own.

Warrensburg Main Street will host the Third Wednesday Art Walk from 5 to 7 p.m. in downtown Warrensburg. Visit downtown businesses while supporting local artists and musicians. The event is free and open to the public.

Saturday, June 22

The Warrensburg Farmers’ Market will be hosted from 8 a.m. to noon around the Johnson County Courthouse square.

Sunday, June 23

The Johnson County Democrats will host Blue Dogs in the Park from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cave Hollow Park, 1001 W. Gay St. in Warrensburg. There will be hot dogs, chips and soda, and local candidates will meet with voters: Raymond James for Missouri Senate District 31, Michael Walbom for Missouri House District 57, Eric Stevens for Missouri House District 54 and Renee Vance for Missouri House District 52.

Monday, June 24

A music get-together is hosted at 11 a.m. every Monday at the Warrensburg Senior Center, 445 E. Gay St. Everybody is welcome to join with singing, playing an instrument or just listening. For more information, call Daniel at 304-767-8575.
