Serious injuries were reported in a single-vehicle wreck on July 31 on Route W.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 1997 Saturn SL2 driven by Charles V. Locascio, 36, of Kingsville, crossed the center line and traveled off the left side of the road. The vehicle then struck two mailboxes and a tree before overturning and coming to a rest on its top.
Locascio is reported to have serious injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence by the Johnson County Ambulance District.
Moderate injuries were reported in a single-vehicle wreck on Aug. 2 on Highway 50.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2013 Hyundai Elantra driven by Joel C. Jameson, 56, of Warrensburg, hydroplaned, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the road and overturn.
Jameson is reported to have moderate injuries and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by JCAD.
Serious injuries were reported in a single-vehicle wreck on Aug. 2 on County Road Northwest 850.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2015 Dodge Charger driven by Misty D. Lunceford, 39, of Odessa, was traveling too fast as she entered a curve. The vehicle began to slide across the left side of the road and hit a tree.
Lunceford is reported to have serious injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD.
