Ashley M. Anderson, 35, of Bates City, suffered moderate injuries and Beau D. Fleeman, 36, of Holden, suffered serious injuries at 11:52 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Fleeman was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado south on NW 200 Road at Highway W when he crossed the centerline. A 2020 Ford F-250 driven north by Anderson then left the roadway in an attempt to avoid the collision.
Anderson was wearing a seat belt, and it is unknown if Fleeman was restrained. Anderson was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Fleeman was arrested for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right-half of the roadway resulting in an accident. He was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
