Holden resident seriously injured in Aug. 27 wreck
One person is reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck Aug. 27 on Highway 58 east of Southwest 1521st Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 1998 Chevrolet, driven by Lance M. Warner, 27, of Holden, swerved to avoid an animal, traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck a fence.
Warner is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by private conveyance to Cass Regional Medical Center.
Warner is reported to have not worn a safety device.
The Chevrolet is reported to be a total loss.
