Kevin M. Kamua, 35, was arrested on Dec. 30 for improper registration, speeding, no seatbelt, driving while revoked, careless and imprudent driving, no tail lights and obstructing police. Officers attempted a traffic stop on his vehicle near the intersection of Young and Burkarth Streets when the driver fled at a high rate of speed and turned off the lights on their vehicle. The vehicle pulled into an apartment complex and collided with another vehicle. He was taken into custody afterward. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released on municipal charges. more
