Serious injuries reported in April 3 wreck
One person is reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck April 3 in the 800 block of Northwest Highway 13.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2006 Dodge, driven by Karen L. Carter, 78, of Warrensburg, crossed the center of the road, left the road, struck trees and came to rest. The wreck is reported to have been a result of a medical issue.
Carter is reported to have serious injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.
Carter is reported to have worn a safety device.
The Dodge is reported to be a total loss.
