Serious injuries reported in July 27 wreck

One person is reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck on July 27 on Highway 13. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the wreck occurred when a 2020 Toyota, driven by Rebecca Patree, 28, of Sedalia, traveled off the road, struck a reflective sign and a culvert, then became airborne and overturned. 

Patree is reported to have serious injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance District.

Patree is reported to have worn a safety device.

The Honda is reported to be a total loss.

Man left with serious injuries from July 28 wreck

One person is reported to have serious injuries from an incident on July 28 on 311 Northwest 50 Highway.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the incident occurred when a 2013 Ford, driven by Colt Weddle, 30, of Cole Camp, struck an individual, Steven Peterson, 60, of Holden, who was walking in the lane of traffic. 

Peterson is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by EMS to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Weddle is reported to have worn a safety device.

The Ford is reported to have minor damage.
