Juvenile seriously injured in March 24 wreck 

One person is reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck March 24 on Route VV west of Southwest 701 Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2002 Ford Ranger, driven by a 16-year-old, of Centerview, left the roadway, returned to the road, began to skid, left the roadway again, overturned and came to rest in the roadway. 

The juvenile is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

The juvenile is reported to have not worn a safety device. 

The Ford is reported to be a total loss. 

MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. 

Serious injuries reported in wreck on Route B

One person is reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck March 24 on Route B south of Highway 2. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2015 Harley-Davidson, driven by David L. Tripp, 53, of Holden, struck a deer and left the roadway, ejecting the driver. 

Tripp is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center. 

Tripp is reported to have worn a safety device. 

The Harley-Davidson is reported to have extensive damage. 

Minor injuries reported in March 26 wreck 

One person is reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck March 26 on Highway D west of Southeast 1151 Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2000 Ford, driven by a 16-year-old, of Knob Noster, traveled off the roadway, returned to the road, began to skid, traveled off the left side of the roadway, returned to the road, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch. 

The juvenile is reported to have minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center. The juvenile is reported to have not worn a safety device. 

The Ford is reported to have minor damage. 

MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and Knob Noster Police Department. 

Minor injuries, arrest reported in March 28 wreck 

One person is reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck March 28 at Highway 50 and Northwest 1601 Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2018 Kia, driven by Cassandra M. Thomas, 25, of Warrensburg, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck several concrete posts and a building. 

Thomas is reported to have minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center. Thomas is reported to have worn a safety device. 

Thomas was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated. 

The Kia is reported to be a total loss. 

MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. 

Serious injuries reported in two-vehicle wreck 

One person is reported to have serious injuries and one person is reported to have minor injuries from a two-vehicle wreck March 28 on Highway 13 at Route H. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2018 Nissan, driven by Imran Ahmen, 29, of Warrensburg, crossed the centerline and struck a 2011 Ford, driven by Santos A. Timoteo, 35, of Belton, head on. 

Ahmed is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence. Timoted is reported to have minor injuries and was transported by JCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

Ahmed and Timoteo are both reported to have worn a safety device. 

The Nissan is reported to be a total loss and the Ford is reported to have extensive damage.
