Minor injuries reported in Oct. 21 wreck
Two people are reported to have minor injuries from a two-vehicle wreck Oct. 21 on Highway 50 at Northeast 501 Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol states the wreck occurred when a 2010 Mercury Mariner, driven by John L. Alderman, 47, of Knob Noster, was stopped for traffic and a 2021 Ford Ranger, driven by Eugene A. Anderson, 90, of Warrensburg, struck the rear of the Mercury.
Alderman is reported to have minor injuries and was treated on scene.
Occupant Carmon Anderson, 68, of Warrensburg, is reported to have minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.
The Mercury and Ford are each reported to be a total loss.
MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
