Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle wreck on Aug. 28 on Highway 50.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2018 Jeep Renegade driven by Leslie R. Schauffler, 73, of Centerview, slowed to make a turn. A 2017 Peterbilt driven by Christopher D. Green, 47, of La Monte, attempted to brake but struck the back of the Jeep.
Occupant Linda S. Hensley-Schauffler, 75, of Centerview, is reported to have minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.
