Nathan P. McMillin, 27, was arrested on Aug. 19 for unlawful possession of a firearm and a controlled substance in the 800 block of Broad Street. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
Holly A. Wilcoxen, 68, was arrested on Aug. 19 for failure to vaccinate her dog and vicious dog. Officers responded to the 400 block of Hawthorne Boulevard in regards to an animal bite. A female subject reported that she was bitten by a dog. The owner of the dog was cited on scene.
Santiago Mattheus, 53, was arrested on Aug. 19 for peace disturbance and assault on law enforcement by striking. The incident occurred in the 800 block of South Maguire Street after multiple callers said the subject was blocking the roadway. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released. Later that same evening, he was found blocking Maguire Street again and was arrested for public peace disturbance and cited for littering and released on scene.
Tiffany D. Faltitch, 32, was arrested on Aug. 21 for an out-of-state fugitive warrant after officers responded to a theft in the 400 block of North Maguire Street. She was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department. While booking the female subject, she spit in an officer's face and later spit on two other officers. The female subject was placed in the Johnson County Jail on a 24-hour hold for assault.
Isaiah D. Sutten, 18, was arrested on Aug. 23 for assault involving a juvenile victim in the 300 block of West Market Street. A male subject approached the victim in class and assaulted them. He was arrested, processed, issued a citation for assault and released from the Warrensburg Police Department.
Michael J. Brumble, 22, was arrested on Aug. 23 for obstructing process by failing to identify and resisting an officer. Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 300 Block of Zoll Street. A male subject attempted to flee from officers during the investigation and resisted officers. After speaking with the female subject and a witness, it was determined that the disturbance was only verbal. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed then transported to the Johnson County Jail for an outstanding warrant.
Savanah M. Dawson, 23, was arrested on Aug. 24 for assault in the 100 block of West Pine Street. A female subject was later arrested and subsequently booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department on a municipal charge of assault.
Justin K. Dubreuil, 35, was arrested on Aug. 25 for first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Officers responded to the 400 block of Burkarth Road where a male victim reported that a male subject stabbed him with a knife a few hours prior. A day later, the subject was found, arrested and transported to the Johnson County Jail.
Joshua R. Mabery, 32, was arrested on Aug. 24 for simple assault and four Independence warrants after officers responded to the 700 block of Devasher Road. He was booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department for the assault and placed in the Johnson County Jail for the warrants.
Christopher R. Ellis, 56, was arrested on Aug. 24 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of North Maguire Street and an open container violation. Officers located the subject after the theft in the 100 block of East Gay Street drinking from an open can of alcohol. Officers made contact with the business who did not wish to press charges for the theft. The male subject was arrested, booked and cited on the scene for the open container violation. He was released to the Johnson County Ambulance District who transported him to the Western Missouri Medical Center due to intoxication.
Jordan L. Smith, 18, was arrested on Aug. 24 for urinating in public in the public road right-a-way in the 300 block of McGoodwin Street. He was issued a summons on the scene.
Kristen M. Harper, 19, was arrested on Aug. 24 for littering in the 300 block of McGoodwin Street after officers checked out a loud party in the residences. A female minor was observed throwing a can of beer down in an alley and was later issued a summons for littering. She was given warnings for open contained and a minor in possession of alcohol.
Blake L. Hawes, 20, was arrested on Aug. 25 for minor in possession of alcohol in the 100 block of West Pine Street after officers stopped him for littering. He was issued a citation and released on scene.
Cierra J. Smith, 20, was arrested on Aug. 25 for driving while intoxicated, minor in possession and was cited for failing to drive in a single lane. Officers conducted a traffic stop on her vehicle in the 200 block of Carpenter Street and arrested her. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.
Timothy C. Gardner, 35, was arrested on Aug. 25 for operating without a valid motorcycle endorsement after officers conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle in the 100 block of East Young Street. The driver was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Kevin R. Payne, 33, was arrested on Aug. 25 for domestic assault and resisting arrest after officers responded to a report of assault of a female subject in the 700 block of East Market Street. The subject fled on foot after the assault. Officers were unable to locate the male subject at the time of the call. The male subject returned to the residence later in the afternoon and was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked, and released with a city summons.
