Inoky Joseph, 19, was arrested on Aug. 5 for domestic assault. Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Ming Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. A female subject reported that she was assaulted by a known male subject. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a citation.

Robert W. York, 51, was arrested on Aug. 5 for a warrant and not having a valid driver’s license after an officer conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle near Maguire and Clark Street. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and transported to the Johnson County Jail.

Tyler J. Skelton, 22, was arrested on Aug. 6 for driving while intoxicated, an open container and was cited for no insurance. An officer responded to the 100 block of West Pine Street in reference to a vehicle leaving the scene of a crash. While conducting the investigation a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle drove past and parked. Contact was made with the male driver of that vehicle. He was booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department.

Michael J. Nupp, 27, was arrested on Aug. 8 for stealing from a business in the 100 block of West Pine Street. A male suspect was identified and contacted. He returned the stolen property to the police and was issued a summons for stealing.

Michael L. Conway, 19, was arrested on Aug. 8 for a felony theft of $750 or more in the 600 block of Springridge Road. He was booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department.

Austin B. Witkowski, 24, was arrested on Aug. 8 for property damage and assault of an officer. Officers were dispatched to a business in the 1200 block of North Hwy 13 in reference to an intoxicated male subject causing a disturbance and harassing customers. Officers arrived on scene and the male subject assaulted the officer trying to detain him. The male subject was taken into custody and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment. He was given three city summons and left in the care of the hospital.

Michael D. Smelser, 37, was arrested on Aug. 9 for a violation of a court order. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.

Cora Miller, 31, was arrested on Aug. 9 for domestic assault after officers responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 100 block of West Culton Street. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.

James Dingus-Fague, 36, was arrested on Aug. 10 for shoplifting, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded to a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard in response to a theft call. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

Shaneka K. Bryant, 29, and Suliana C. Tonga, 45, were arrested on Aug. 10 for assault and an out-of-county warrant, respectively. Officers responded to a disturbance call in the 300 block of Mulberry Street where Tonga said she was assaulted by Bryant. Bryant was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released for assault. Tonga was arrested for a Jackson County warrant and placed in the Johnson County Jail.

Noah T. Thorpe, 18, and Kyle D. Huffmaster, 19, were arrested on Aug. 10 for minor in possession of alcohol, and the driver, Huffmaster, was also arrested for driving while intoxicated. Officers were dispatched to a single-car motor vehicle crash with the vehicle engulfed in flames in the 1200 block of North Maguire Street. Both subjects were transported to WMMC for injuries, booked and released at Western Missouri Medical Center to staff.

Mashele M. Overbey, 46, was arrested on Aug. 11 for theft from a motor vehicle and trespass from a motor vehicle. An officer received information about a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred in the 400 block of North Mitchell Street. A subject reported her vehicle had been broken into and multiple items were stolen. She was booked at the Warrensburg Police Department and was placed in Johnson County Jail to be housed for extradition on an active Raymore PD warrant.
