Stephen De La Garza, 36, was arrested on Jan. 6 for driving without a valid driver's license, leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to the area of Gay and Mitchell Streets to tend to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident reported by a female driver. The male driver fled the scene and was located in the 100 block of Commercial Street. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released. He was also issued a citation for failing to obey a signal light.
