An 8-year-old boy from Warrensburg, a 17-year-old girl from Warrensburg, a 17-year-old boy from Holden, an 18-year-old woman from Warrensburg and a 19-year-old man from Warrensburg all suffered minor injuries at 9:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as the 17-year-old boy from Holden was driving north on NE 200 Road in a 2013 Ford Focus, ran a stop sign, ran off the roadway and struck a fence.
Everyone except the 19-year-old man from Warrensburg was wearing a seat belt. They were all transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District.
A 19-year-old woman from Knob Noster suffered minor injuries at 5:48 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 17-year-old woman from Knob Noster was driving a 2008 Lexus ES 350 south on Route D near U.S. Highway 50 and hit the 19-year-old as she was standing in the southbound lane. The Lexus then traveled off the roadway.
The pedestrian was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
