Kansas man seriously injured in Johnson County collision
An Overland Park, Kan. man, 30, suffered serious injuries, and an Olathe, Kan. woman, 37, suffered minor injuries at 8:14 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2011 Toyota Corolla south on NW 1801 and crossed the westbound 50 and was traveling west on U.S. 50 when he was impacted in the driver's door by a westbound 2024 Ford Bronco sport driven by the Olathe woman.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, she refused treatment and he was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Warrensburg.
