Johnson County ATV accident sends Warrensburg man to hospital

A 22-year-old man from Warrensburg suffered moderate injuries and a 26-year-old woman from Warrensburg suffered minor injuries at 2:05 p.m. Thursday, July 3, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the man was driving a 2025 Polaris Ranger west on SW 101 Road and was making a left turn when it rolled over and came to rest on the roof.

Neither occupant was wearing a safety device. The man was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. The woman was treated on scene and released.

Three transported after Johnson County crash

A Warrensburg man, 20, suffered moderate injuries, a Topeka, Kansas man, 55, suffered moderate injuries, and another Topeka man, 65, suffered moderate injuries at 1:55 p.m. Saturday, July 5, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report a 2016 Ford F-150 driven west on U.S. Highway 50 by the 20-year-old slowed to turn onto NW 1601 Road and was struck by a westbound 2014 Buick Encore driven by the 55-year-old. The Encore then slid into the rear of a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven south by a 17-year-old boy from Kingsville.

The Warrensburg man was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by personal conveyance to St. Luke's East in Lee’s Summit. The Topeka driver was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance District. The occupant from Topeka was wearing a seat belt, and was also transported to Western Missouri Medical Center.

Cleveland man hurt in Johnson County mishap

A Cleveland man, 53, suffered minor injuries at 4:47 p.m. Sunday, July 6, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2014 Ram 2500 west on Missouri Highway 2 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway with a towed unit and overturned.

He was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by private conveyance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
