Police Reports for July 22

Janice E. Cook, 42, was arrested on June 23 for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator's license after an accident at the intersection of South Marr Drive and South Maguire Street. It was determined that she collided with a stop sign. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released with multiple citations.

Joseph E. Whitley, 50, was arrested on June 24 for domestic assault in the 1500 block of Park Avenue on June 23. It was reported that a male and female subject had gotten into an altercation, which resulted in the female subject sustaining multiple injuries. The male subject was subsequently arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Stephanie D. Howell, 34, was arrested on June 27 for stealing in the 100 block of East Hunt Street. A female subject reported that Howell had stolen her stroller and fled. Howell was later located and issued a citation for stealing.

Jason R. Maynor, 44, was arrested on June 24 for stealing in the 700 block of South Holden Street. A male subject reported that Maynor stole his bicycle. The bicycle was later recovered, and Maynor was arrested for stealing. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Kyle S. Jeansonne, 41, was arrested on June 25 for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license after an officer conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle in the 500 block of East Gay Street for no license plates displayed. He was subsequently arrested. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Ryan E. Gifford, 23, was arrested on June 25 for driving with a suspended license and outstanding warrants from Johnson County and Maryville. He was arrested after an officer conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle in the 400 block of South Main Street due to improper registration. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was placed in lieu of bond.

Yolanda K. Tinsley, 55, was arrested on June 25 for domestic assault in the 200 block of West South Street. Upon arrival, UCM DPS informed officers that multiple people witnessed a female subject assault a male subject in a vehicle. The vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was conducted. The female subject was subsequently arrested for domestic assault and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Donald K. Sears, 61, was arrested on June 26 for dogs running at large in the 200 block of West Market Street. A female individual reported that Sears’ dog was off its leash and attacked her dog. Officers made contact with the male subject, who was then cited on scene for an animal at large.

Justin B. Kidd, 47, was arrested on June 27 for operating a motorcycle without a valid license in the 1100 block of Tyler Avenue. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the motorcycle and placed him under arrest. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Hayden J. Stark, 24, was arrested on June 28 for stealing a motor vehicle in the 300 block of North Main Street between June 27 and 28. Officers made contact with the registered vehicle owner, who informed them that his car had been stolen. A suspect was later identified and subsequently arrested. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released pending state charges.

Chad A. Rogers, 49, was arrested on June 29 for being a fugitive out of state. Officers observed an unknown male subject walking southbound on College Street who matched the description of a theft suspect from a previous case. Officers made contact with the male subject and concluded that he was not the suspect. Upon further investigation, the male subject was confirmed to have two out-of-state felony warrants and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where custody was transferred over to Jail staff.
