Joseph M. Moore, 42, was arrested Aug. 13, for assault in the 1200 block of Vivian Drive after officers were dispatched in reference to a domestic disturbance. A female subject told officers that a known male had assaulted her by placing her in a headlock. Officers made contact with the male, who was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed city summons.
Angelina D. Mathis, 32, was arrested Aug. 14 for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 400 block of North Holden Street after officers were dispatched in reference to a wanted subject being located in the area. Officers made contact with a known female who was determined to have an active Johnson County warrant. She was placed under arrest, where she was then discovered to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Johnson County Jail in lieu of bond.
Michael M. Glen, 29, was arrested Aug. 14 for Driving While Intoxicated and no proof of financial responsibility in the 1000 block of West Gay Street after officers were dispatched to Old Drive Park in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle that had been involved in the crash. It was reported that two male subjects were seen exiting the vehicle and fleeing the scene on foot. Officers conducted a search of the area and located two male subjects. It was determined that the male driver was intoxicated and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Desiree M. Baker, 42, was arrested Aug. 15 for obstructing process in the 100 block of South Holden Street.
Sharde N. Smith, 38, was arrested Aug. 15 for resisting or interfering with arrest, leaving the scene of an accident and driving while suspended in the 300 block of East Market Street. The incident began as a hit-and-run that occurred in the 600 block of Burkarth Road. Officers located a vehicle matching a provided description and conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of East Market Street. The female driver was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released pending state charges.
Makenzie P. Bikers, 31, was arrested Aug. 16 for shoplifting in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for shoplifting after officers witnessed a female subject steal from a business. The female was placed under arrest for shoplifting and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released with a signed city summons.
Darlene M. Wheatley, 61, was arrested Aug. 16 for stealing in the 10 block of NE 175th Road after officers responded to the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard in reference to a past theft. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a female subject had been seen on video surveillance stealing an employee's coffee tumbler and exiting the establishment. The female was located in the 10 block of NE 175th Road, where she was issued a signed city summons for shoplifting. The tumbler was seized and returned to its owner.
Laneisha M. Mitchell, 19, was arrested Aug. 16 for shoplifting in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft in progress. Upon arrival, officers were approached by a known female subject who admitted to stealing food items from the establishment. She was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released with a signed city summons for shoplifting.
Zechariah D. Pombo, 19, was arrested Aug. 17 for shoplifting in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard after officers were dispatched to a theft in progress. Upon arrival, officers located a male who had shoplifted from the establishment. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.
