Tanya A. Jones-Renfro, 65, was arrested June 9 in the 500 block of Broad Street for trespassing after officers were dispatched to the location for trespassing. A reporting party stated that a known female who had previously been trespassed was located on scene. Officers made contact and confirmed that her trespass notice was active. She was arrested, booked and released on scene with a city citation.
Adam D. Hamilton, 45, was arrested June 9 in the 100 block of West North Street for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of West North Street after officers were dispatched in reference to a parking complaint. Officers located a vehicle that had been parked in violation of city ordinances for several weeks. Contact was made with the owner, who was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Kristen R. Wright, 21, was arrested June 10 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for shoplifting after officers were dispatched in reference to shoplifting. Upon arrival, asset protection reported that a known female had skip-scanned multiple items before passing the last point of sale without rendering payment for the items. Officers arrested the female for stealing. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a city summons.
Christa E. Franken, 28, was arrested June 12 in the 200 block of North College Street for simple domestic assault after officers were dispatched in reference to a disturbance. A male reported that a known female had assaulted him by striking him in the chest. Officers located and arrested the female. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Steve Lerma, 30, was arrested June 13 in the 1300 block of South Maguire Street for having the scene of an accident after officers were dispatched in reference to a water main break. Officers determined the incident to be a leaving the scene of a crash. After reviewing footage and talking with multiple parties, a male driver was identified and arrested for leaving the scene. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Christopher L. Jones, 52, was arrested June 13 in the 500 block of Terrace Drive for driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated after officers responded in reference to a possibly intoxicated male driver operating an SUV in the area. Officers located the vehicle and the male, and they conducted a field sobriety test. It was determined he was under the influence and arrested. He was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center, where he was released to medical staff after being provided with state charges.
Savannah D. Atwood, 36, was arrested for disturbing public peace after officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Prairie Hill Drive in reference to a careless and imprudent driver in the area. The driver, upon being given a citation, reported that a known female subject had been disturbing public peace. Officers made contact with the female, where they arrested, booked and released on scene with a city summons.
