Two seriously injured in Johnson County crash
A Lone Jack girl, 12, and a Holden woman, 41, suffered serious injuries at 5:21 p.m. Friday, April 3, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the Holden woman was driving a 2004 Toyota Sienna east on U.S. Highway 50, west of NW 1501 Road, when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned.
The girl was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
The woman was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
