Drifting teen flips truck in Johnson County

A Warrensburg boy, 16, suffered minor injuries at 9:01 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27,  in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was trying to drift a Ford F-150 in the northbound lanes of SE 341 Road when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway and flipped several times.

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by private conveyance. 

Two hurt in Johnson County collision

A Holden man suffered minor injuries and a Warrensburg woman suffered minor injuries at 5:31 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2017 Hyundai Azera driven east on NW 375th Road by the woman pulled into the path of a 2018 Jeep Liberty driven south on Missouri Route 13 by an Overland Park man, 21, and it was struck on the side. 

The injured were wearing seat belts and were transported by private conveyance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
