Holden woman seriously injured in US 50 crash
A Holden woman, 59, suffered serious injuries and a Holden man, 54, suffered minor injuries at 7:27 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the man was driving a 1984 Chevrolet Silverado west on U.S. Highway 50 east of Missouri Route 131 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Both occupants were wearing seat belts, and were transported to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.
Nevada man hurt in Johnson County crash
A Nevada man, 25, suffered minor injuries at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado north on Route O near Holden when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned multiple times.
He was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
