Sara M. Grindstaff, 46, was arrested Aug. 10 for driving while revoked in the area of Maguire and Jackson after officers observed a known female driving a motor vehicle with a revoked status in the area of Maguire and Clark Street. She was stopped, arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Christian Parsons, 25, was arrested Aug. 10 in the 300 block of East Young Street for simple assault of an officer after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no license plates. A male passenger was arrested for a traffic warrant, and while he was being taken into custody assaulted an officer by striking him in the chest with his elbow. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he posted bond for the warrant and was issued a summons for assault on a law enforcement officer and released.
Bryan S. Wiskur, 36, was arrested Aug. 11 for driving while revoked in the area of Railroad Street and North Maguire Street after officers observed a vehicle fail to stop at a posted stop sign. A traffic stop took place in the 500 block of Grover Street. A known male was arrested for driving while revoked. They were transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Desiree Baker, 43, was arrested Aug. 11 in the 500 block of Laurel Avenue for shoplifting after officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Young Street for shoplifting. An employee stated a known female had stolen alcoholic beverages from the store. The female had left the area when officers arrived, but camera footage confirmed a female walked past all points of sale without paying. She was located, arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Jennifer A. Musgrave, 46, was arrested Aug. 12 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for shoplifting after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. Asset protection provided a video of a female switching tags. She was detained when officers arrived. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Jeff J. Fisher, 60, was arrested Aug. 12 in the area of Holden Street and Young Street for failure to display a license plate, resisting arrest, corner cutting and littering after officers stopped a vehicle for speeding, no front plate and corner cutting. WPD described the male driver as extremely angry and stated he failed to comply with commands. He attempted to go back to the stopping officer's car when told not to, threw a cigarette in the roadway and continued to not follow commands. He was told he was being arrested for obstruction. The male then refused to exit the vehicle and was removed from the vehicle by officers. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released. His vehicle was towed by Tip Top Towing.
Miguel A.R. Lee, 29, was arrested Aug. 12 in the 700 block of East Culton for driving while intoxicated after officers responded to the area for careless and imprudent driving. Officers located the male and, after an investigation, arrested him for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Easten G. Pope, 26, was arrested Aug. 14 for felony driving while revoked in the area of Creach Drive after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for displaying no valid license plate. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
James S. Sawyer, 78, was arrested Aug. 15 for driving without a valid operator’s license in the 400 block of Broad Street after officers were dispatched to a wrong-way driver in the area of North Mitchell Street and East Gay. A reporting party stated a vehicle had almost collided with multiple motorists. Officers made contact with the vehicle and cited the driver on scene for driving without a valid license.
Elijah W. Steinbrunn, 24, was arrested Aug. 16 for simple domestic assault in the 1000 block of Broad Street after officers responded to a domestic assault. A male subject was reported to have assaulted a female victim, causing injury. The male was arrested for domestic assault and was booked and released from the Warrenburg Police Department on a summons.
