Alyssa L. Therien, 19, was arrested July 20 for shoplifting in the 1000 block of Christopher Street after officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Maguire regarding a theft. A business reported a female stole $12.49 worth of merchandise by placing it inside her jacket and walking out of the store past all points of sale without paying. She was located and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released.
James D. Tucker, 66, was arrested July 21 in the area of Sunflower Street and Sellman Street for drugs/paraphernalia possession and driving while suspended after officers conducted a traffic stop for expired tags. The male subject could not provide proof of insurance, and his license was suspended. After searching the vehicle with consent, an empty baggie with white residue was located. The male was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Christopher Battles, 35, was arrested July 22 in the area of Market Street and Maguire Street for possession of a controlled substance and sex offender within 500 feet of a school building, grounds, or conveyance to transport students after officers conducted a subject check on a known male subject registered as a sex offender after observing him on school property at Martin Warren Elementary, 100 S. Maguire Street. Officers confirmed the subject’s offender status and detained him in the 200 block of North Maguire Street. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
David N. Hays, 58, was arrested July 22 in the area of Gay Street and Maguire Street for possession of drug paraphernalia after officers conducted a traffic stop for expired plates and failing to use a turn signal. The male was the sole occupant and was unable to produce proof of insurance. Drug paraphernalia was later found inside the vehicle. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Dustin J. Rezac, 44, was arrested July 22 in the area of West Young Street and NW 50 Highway for unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, failure to maintain/drive on the right half of the road and driving while intoxicated after officers were dispatched to a reported intoxicated driver driving west on 50 Highway. Officers conducted a traffic stop before arresting him and transporting him to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released.
Jillianne M. Renfrow, 35, was arrested July 23 in the 600 block of East Young Street for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, while Joseph J. Wilson, 52, was arrested on a warrant after officers conducted a subject check on a male with an active Johnson County warrant. The female was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released while the male was transported to the Johnson County Jail in lieu of bond.
Bethany D. Pine, 31, was arrested July 23 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for shoplifting after officers were dispatched to shoplifting. She was arrested for leaving the last point of sale with unscanned merchandise and was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
