Michael W. Murphy, 44, was arrested Jan. 6 near the intersection of Gay Street and Care Center Drive for driving without an operator's license after officers conducted a traffic stop on a maroon GMC near the intersection of Gay Street and Care Center Drive for driving with a suspected revoked status. Officers discovered the driver was driving while their license was revoked and had an active Johnson County warrant. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was placed in lieu of bond.
Robert Ernest Brumley, 55, was arrested Jan. 6 in the 200 block of Southwest 13 Highway for stealing after officers were dispatched to the 600 block of West Gay Street in reference to a theft. A reporting party stated that a known male subject stole two puppies from her residence before fleeing. Officers located the male, who was arrested for stealing and an active warrant. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was placed in lieu of bond with citations for stealing.
Chadrick J. Taylor, 23, was arrested Jan. 8 near the intersection of Sellman and Montserrat for driving while suspended after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no license plates. Officers arrested the male subject for driving while suspended, no vehicle insurance and improper registration. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released in lieu of bond.
William E. Fleer, 61. was arrested Jan. 9 in the 400 block of Southeast 201 Road after officers were dispatched to the 600 block of North Maguire Street in reference to a vehicle crash involving a silver Toyota Tacoma. A reporting party stated her truck was hit by another driver, who fled. After further investigation, the male was located and arrested for leaving the scene. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed city summons.
Sheila L. Brown, 44, was arrested Jan.9 in the 200 block of Pine Street for delivery or possession of a controlled substance at a county correctional center, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and a Warrensburg warrant after officers were dispatched to the location for a subject check. Officers made contact with the female, who was determined to have an active warrant. Officers also located a suspected controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where she was placed in lieu of bond with state charges for possession.
