Laneisha M. Mitchell, 19, was arrested Dec. 10 near the intersection of Maguire and Culton for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance after officers were dispatched for a subject check. Officers made contact with the female, who was determined to have three active warrants out of Johnson County. She was arrested and, during a routine search, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Johnson County Jail in lieu of bond.
Trevai L. Davenport, 27, was arrested Dec. 10 near the intersection of Mitchell Street and Gay Street for driving while suspended after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for driving while suspended. Officers discovered the driver had three active Johnson County warrants for his arrest. He was placed into custody and transported to the Johnson County Jail in lieu of bond.
April L. Meade, 55, was arrested Dec. 10 for possession of a controlled substance and shoplifting in the 300 block of Cooper Boulevard after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. Asset protection reported they had a female detained in their office who was seen skip-scanning multiple items. Officers discovered the female had a warrant out of Clay County. She was arrested and during a routine search, she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where she was placed in lieu of bond. Officers are seeking charges of stealing and possession of a controlled substance.
Leslie K. Jurgeson, 62, was arrested Dec. 12 in the 400 block of Burkarth Road for peace disturbance, third-degree assault and recklessly risking infection of another after officers were dispatched to Western Missouri Medical Center for a disturbance. Staff reported a male subject had assaulted multiple individuals and was acting irately. The male was arrested for third-degree assault and two counts of reckless risking infection of another with disease. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold.
Christian B. Gellert, 21, was arrested Dec. 13 for driving while intoxicated in the 100 block of South Street after officers observed a vehicle spinning its tires in the 100 block of West Pine Street before leaving the area. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a check in the 100 block of South Street. The male driver was determined to be driving while intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.
William D. Matheny, 37, was arrested Dec. 13 for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance in the 200 block of Warren Street after officers were dispatched for a subject check. It was determined the male had an active warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was placed in lieu of bond with charges for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Ethan M. Rash, 22, was arrested Dec. 14 for driving while intoxicated near the intersection of Railroad Street and South Holden Street after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to yield at a posted sign at West Pine Street and South Holden Street. During the stop, officers detected the odor of alcohol on the male driver and placed him under arrest for DWI. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released for DWI and failure to stop at a stop sign.
Ashley E. Hult, 19, was arrested Dec. 14 for shoplifting in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. Asset protection informed officers that one female and a juvenile were caught stealing multiple items. Both subjects were arrested for stealing. The juvenile was released to their guardian, and the female was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released with a signed city summons.
